On 31 August 2007 the decision in the case of Cracknell v TAC (General)  VCAT 1615 was handed down by Judge Bowman of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (“VCAT”).
He acted for Wendy Fleming in the case of Fleming -v- Hutchinson  2 VR129, one of five cases heard by the Appeals Division of the Supreme Court of Victoria in 1991 which defined the meaning of the expression “serious injury” within the Transport Accident Act 1986.
