As we all continue to adapt to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic we want to assure all of our clients and their families that we have their safety and welfare at the forefront of our thinking. We are also balancing this with the safety and welfare of our staff. Our clients and our staff remain our highest priorities.

To ensure the safety of our people and to do our part to “flatten the curve”, we are shifting towards remote operations. Whilst that is so, we remain committed to guiding our clients through their claim and the claim process; all matters will continue to be advanced with a focus on achieving the best possible outcomes in the shortest possible timeframes. That has not changed.

Our firm has in place measures to ensure that we are operational and fully available to handle matters as seamlessly as possible. Our plan has involved implementing enhancements to remote work capabilities. We remain contactable by phone (including our individual mobile phones) and email as normal. We will continue to have full access to our systems. Although certain face-to-face meetings should be curtailed, with the addition of Zoom and use of other platforms such as Skype, WhatsApp, Facetime, etc. we remain ready to video conference with clients, the TAC and the Courts. These precautionary changes to the way we conduct appointments and conferences are to protect everyone’s safety and health.

Medico-legal appointments remain on schedule unless you are otherwise advised. All of our assessors are adhering to the strictest medical controls and a number of our examiners are even moving to facilitate remote assessments via Skype, WhatsApp or Facetime. If this is the case then we will support that and will contact you with further details.

Most mediations and settlement conferences will be conducted via conference calls (video or phone) and we will keep you advised of the situation on a case by case basis.

We realise that every client will feel the effects in different ways. Rest assured that we are here to help you continue to move forward or even just lend an ear.

Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by this pandemic and we wish for everyone to remain healthy and safe as we work through these challenging times. We are all in this together and we will get through it together.
